Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining efficient filing systems. This role involves creating and drafting office correspondence utilizing computer software. The coordinator will manage the distribution and routing of mail, as well as order and monitor Human Resources office supplies and forms. The position requires answering phone calls and accurately recording messages. Additionally, the coordinator will assist in the creation of new employee personnel files and support walk-in candidates with application processes.

It is essential to maintain a designated space for completing applications, ensuring it is clean, well-kept, and accessible for individuals with disabilities. The coordinator will respond to inquiries, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company policies and Human Resources programs. Furthermore, it is crucial to inform Human Resources management of any issues related to employee relations within the division.

Confidentiality and security of employee and property records are paramount. The coordinator will ensure the accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language.
  • Prepare and review written documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
  • Utilize computers and/or point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and carrying objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Execute other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification: None required.
