REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent nursing diploma.
- Licensure: Active nursing license in the state of practice.
- Certifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to employment.
- Additional certifications as necessary for specific units.
- Experience:
- At least one year of experience in acute care settings is essential.
- Must fulfill unit-specific care criteria.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination necessary for clinical tasks.
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges are required.
- Ability to lift, turn, and mobilize patients or equipment throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds independently for a portion of the shift.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for the majority of the shift.
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
