Clinical Nurse Practitioner

At Health First, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinic LPN to join our team. As a Clinic LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist physicians in all procedures as instructed, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Manage stock in treatment rooms, rotate dated medications, and maintain accurate documentation of narcotic drugs.
- Collect blood and/or samples as directed, using sterile techniques and ensuring proper paperwork and laboratory processing.
- Administer medications as ordered, documenting all interactions and ensuring timely communication with physicians.
- Provide leadership and support to ancillary nursing and patient care teams, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Assist in the use of equipment and materials in a cost-effective manner, ensuring optimal patient care and clinic efficiency.
- Complete all documentation supporting billable activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate records of patients' vital signs, drug allergies, and descriptions of complaints.
- Under the supervision of an RN, case manage patients with wound care, applying dressings as ordered by physicians.
- Education: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse licensure from a credentialed program supported by the Florida Board of Nursing.
- Work Experience: N/A
- Licensure: Current Florida LPN license.
- Certification: Must hold and maintain current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card.
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in stressful environments.
- Ability to assess and quickly interpret data, assisting physicians in patient care and education.
- Demonstrate leadership ability and flexibility.
- Demonstrate knowledge of exposure to biohazardous waste, MSDA substances, and unknown diseases.
This role requires the ability to perform medium work, including lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, with or without assistance. The position may also require moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.
