Culinary Specialist for Bistro Operations

Position Overview:


The Bistro Cook is responsible for the preparation and serving of a variety of food items from the grill, pizza, salad, and fry sections of the Bistro.

This role may also involve the preparation of food items for future concepts and catering services as required by management.

Additionally, the Bistro Cook will perform food service worker duties on a daily basis.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food from designated cooking areas.
  • Assist in food preparation for catering and future culinary concepts.
  • Execute daily food service tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in high-volume food preparation, particularly from a grill, is required.

Certification from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for ServSafe Protection is mandatory or must be obtained within the first 6 to 12 months of employment and maintained throughout the duration of employment.

Candidates must possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, as well as comprehend recipes and culinary math. The ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting established goals and deadlines is essential.
