About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading outbound sales efforts to secure new partnerships, nurturing existing relationships to ensure renewal and upselling opportunities, managing client hospitality initiatives, and overseeing all aspects of partnership fulfillment and activation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities

Utilize market research and industry insights to identify potential business partners and develop tailored sponsorship packages that align with their needs and objectives.

Develop and Maintain a Robust Pipeline

Proactively outreach, network, and build relationships with potential business partners to develop a robust pipeline of potential sponsors.

Negotiate Sponsorship Agreements

Utilize strong negotiation skills to negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts that ensure mutually beneficial terms for both parties.

Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders

Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Manager of Partnership Services, to facilitate a smooth transition of finalized partnerships.

Develop Sales Targets and Forecasts

Work closely with the Regional Sales Director to develop sales targets, forecasts, and budgets aligned with overall departmental objectives.

Analyze Market Trends and Competitor Activities

Continuously evaluate and refine sales tactics to optimize effectiveness and drive results.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a Related Field
  • Proven Track Record of Success in B2B Sales, Preferably within the Sports Sponsorship Industry
  • Strong Negotiation Skills with the Ability to Close Deals and Drive Revenue Growth
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with the Ability to Effectively Engage and Influence Stakeholders at All Levels
  • Strategic Thinker with the Ability to Develop and Execute Comprehensive Sales Plans
  • Results-Driven Mindset with a Focus on Achieving and Exceeding Sales Targets
  • Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment and Adapt to Changing Priorities
