Position Summary:
The Logistics Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating the safe and efficient transportation of goods on behalf of importers and exporters. This position demands a proactive, self-driven individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and determine the most suitable routes for shipments, considering the nature of the goods, costs, transit times, and security measures.
- Coordinate appropriate packaging solutions, taking into account environmental factors, weight, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and manage transportation and handling expenses.
- Prepare and verify documentation to comply with customs and insurance regulations, as well as international standards.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to ensure the timely movement of goods via various transport modes (road, rail, air, or sea).
- Facilitate insurance arrangements and assist clients with claims as necessary.
- Manage freight payments and collections on behalf of clients.
- Utilize technology for real-time tracking of shipments and maintain communication throughout the transportation process.

Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- A diploma in International Freight Forwarding or a related field, or a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the logistics or transportation sector.
