Precious Metals Vault Operations Lead

Loomis, a leading provider of cash management and transportation services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vault Assistant Lead to join our Precious Metals team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our vault facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Work closely with leads to ensure accurate stock ins and stock outs, verify and process incoming shipments, and check inventory and order replenishment of supplies.
- COMEX Operations: Assist management with COMEX related operations, including physical counting and reconciliation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure accurate monthly billing, coordinate daily order processing in a timely and efficient manner, and maintain availability to perform all tasks and to cover for the Vault Lead in case of absence.
- Security and Compliance: Identify areas of need, prevent possible financial loss, and ensure staff is adhering to all rules and protocols set forth by the company.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively in a collaborative, complex, and high-performing team environment, and assist management in determining solutions to issues.
- Experience: Experience in the precious metals industry, preferably with knowledge of COMEX rules.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities, ability to remain flexible during times of change, and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to maintain a stooped or squatting position for several minutes to perform the sorting function, ability to walk continuously between bins, vaults, booths, counters, and ability to stand on concrete floor approximately 80 percent of shift.
- Environmental Factors: Work in areas within a vault with little or no exposure to outside light.
