Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Superintendent to join our team at Bechtel Corporation. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for leading a team of superintendents and craft professionals on a semiconductor manufacturing project in New Albany, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of superintendents and craft professionals to ensure project completion within schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development.
  • Ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures.
  • Coordinate established area operational plans and oversee tool and equipment usage on the site.
  • Manage the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensure that the craft professionals have the tools they require to be productive.
  • Ensure assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
  • Work with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy.
  • Knowledge of the Project ES&H Handbook, the Supervisors ES&H Manual, the Project Safety Management Plan, and the Bechtel Core Processes.
  • Knowledge of the Six Sigma program tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities.
  • Knowledge of Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs).
  • Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications in accordance with current Bechtel Standard Application Program (BSAP) standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment.
  • Working knowledge of unionized labor.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and issues.
