Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent Lead to join our team at Bechtel Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of superintendents and craft professionals on a project, directing their activities and work schedules, and coordinating subcontract work activities and team development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership / Supervision: Supervise and direct craft activities, subordinate superintendents, and others, as assigned.
  • Scheduling: Schedule work to be performed and review work accomplished by each craft.
  • Planning / Productivity: Determine workforce requirements, coordinate established area operational plans, and oversee tool and equipment usage on the site.
  • Safety & Quality: Ensure compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets, and manage the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables.
  • Technical: Work with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge: Coordinates with engineering on constructability issues, knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation, and knowledge of Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy.
  • Skills: Demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment, working knowledge of unionized labor, and knowledge of local labor laws and issues.
