About This Role

We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Technician to join our team at Battle Motors. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical technicians to diagnose and repair high and low voltage electrical subsystems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of electrical technicians to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  2. Assign and direct daily tasks for technicians to ensure efficient workflow
  3. Mentor and train new technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge
  4. Read and interpret electrical schematics to identify issues and develop solutions
  5. Draw wiring schematics to use for troubleshooting and repair
  6. Build harnesses and cables as required to support troubleshooting and manufacturing
  7. Support engineering to troubleshoot trucks on the line and in the field
  8. Collaborate with R&D and engineering during the new product development phases
  9. Willing to travel approximately 10%
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with electrical systems troubleshooting and repairing
  • Strong knowledge of high and low voltage automotive systems
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus
  • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Must be organized, with strong communication skills
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical system design, safety, EMI, EMC, HVIL
  • Experience in harness certification for IEEE, SAE, and EMI standards
  • Understanding of high voltage energy storage and charge systems in EVs
  • Familiarity with related regulations, FMVSS/SAE standards, and practices
