Job Overview
Carnival Corporation & plc is a leader in the cruise industry, committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences to our guests. We are currently seeking a talented Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team in a hybrid capacity.

Position Summary
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and accurate pricing on purchase orders. Your expertise will be vital in managing sourcing initiatives for key categories and projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
2. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for procurement-related matters.
3. Evaluate vendor proposals based on financial and qualitative criteria, ensuring compliance with established payment terms.
4. Act as a subject matter expert in supplier relationship management, utilizing data and metrics to drive performance improvements.
5. Assist in resolving supplier-related issues, collaborating with the expediting team as necessary.
6. Identify opportunities for strategic sourcing to optimize spending and reduce reliance on tactical purchases.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of procurement experience in a high-volume supply chain environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and perform financial analysis.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Negotiation skills and experience in conflict resolution are preferred.
- Familiarity with project management and process improvement methodologies.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
