Position Summary:

The Service Provider Manager is responsible for qualifying, engaging, developing, and maintaining relationships with service providers within the district. This role is pivotal in managing all aspects of Expeditors' interactions with service providers to ensure maximum value and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist supervisors and key personnel in setting and monitoring goals.
  • Organize and facilitate effective meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide training to branch management on service provider systems and data management.
  • Coach team members for professional development within and beyond their expertise.
  • Collaborate with Products & Services to identify new service provider needs, outline service expectations, and facilitate the RFQ process.
  • Ensure compliance with approved service providers who meet operational standards.
  • Monitor service provider performance and compliance, conducting business reviews as necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and highlight the value of service provider relationships.
  • Work closely with the Regional Service Provider Manager to stay updated on program developments.
  • Establish performance standards and expectations for service providers.
  • Maintain oversight of service provider metrics and seek areas for improvement.
  • Ensure timely resolution of service provider complaints and follow up on actions taken.
  • Promote adherence to company policies and regulations while modeling integrity and pride.
Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Expeditors policies and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and competition.
  • Proficiency in required operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and articulate business plans.
  • Demonstrated customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent business qualifications.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant industry experience.
