Job Overview

The Green Air Group is a prominent provider of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical solutions, dedicated to offering outstanding service and products. We are in search of a skilled and knowledgeable Warehouse and Fleet Manager to oversee our warehouse operations, procurement processes, and fleet oversight.

Position Summary

The Warehouse and Fleet Manager will handle all facets of warehouse management, including inventory control, procurement of materials, and fleet administration. This role demands a proactive and systematic individual capable of ensuring efficient purchasing, streamlined warehouse functions, and effective vehicle fleet management.

Core Responsibilities:

Warehouse Oversight:

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and enforce effective stock rotation practices.
  • Implement and uphold safety standards and protocols within the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Develop and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers and vendors.

Procurement Management:

  • Oversee the procurement of all materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts and favorable pricing.
  • Assess supplier performance to guarantee the availability of quality products.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure timely creation of accurate purchase orders and delivery timelines.

Fleet Administration:

  • Supervise the maintenance, repair, and operation of the company’s vehicle fleet.
  • Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, insurance, and safety regulations for all vehicles.
  • Monitor fleet performance and devise strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus.
  • Proven skills in negotiation and supplier management.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • This role requires on-site presence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
  • Experience with ERP systems.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, procurement, and fleet management is required, preferably in the HVAC sector.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
