Senior Analyst, Project Oversight & Compliance

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the capital compliance division in maintaining its oversight and compliance program to ensure Capital Programs projects meet all internal and external oversight requirements.
  • Analyze and track documentation and information in response to internal and external oversight and other agencies relating to Capital Programs projects.
  • Assist with the implementation of internal or external findings or recommendations resulting from audits or reviews.
  • Assemble, track, and compile documentation and information in response to internal and external oversight entities.
  • Coordinate, attend, and participate in site inspections and field reviews conducted by internal and external oversight entities, including but not limited to, auditors and federal and state agencies, relating to NJ TRANSIT capital projects.
  • Assist with the updating of Capital Programs internal policies and procedures as directed.
  • Assist in monitoring, and as necessary, coordinating compliance activities to identify trends.
  • Prepare clear, concise, accurate, and timely communications, as needed.
  • Perform special projects and other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture, Construction/Project Management, Auditing, Accounting, Pre-Law, Business/Public Administration or equivalent.
  • 3 years of progressive public administration experience or financial or programmatic compliance experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills required.
  • Strong analytic ability and ability to manage multiple projects with varied deadlines is required.
