Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager

firstPRO, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead the migration of our client's systems and users from Windows 10 to Windows 11. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of the migration project, ensuring timely and successful rollout while balancing budget, scope, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage a detailed project plan for the Windows 11 migration, including scope, timeline, and resources.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure alignment with migration goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to the migration and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that the Windows 11 deployment meets organizational quality standards and complies with IT policies.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support during the transition period, addressing user issues and technical challenges as they arise.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects, with a focus on operating system migrations or similar large-scale technology rollouts.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, including deployment and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
