Assistant Residential Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Residential Manager to join our team at Warren, Washington, & Albany Counties ARC. As an Assistant Residential Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities in our residential programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Residential Manager in ensuring the program runs safely and effectively.
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as getting ready for the day, cooking, cleaning, and medication assistance.
  • Participate in social and recreational activities in the community, promoting a fun and engaging environment.
  • Use independent judgment and discretion to ensure employee compliance with regulatory standards, agency policies, and consumer total plans of care.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a Human Service-related field preferred.
  • 9 months of experience working with people who have intellectual and other developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
