Job Title: Assistant Residential Manager

Warren, Washington, & Albany Counties ARC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Residential Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Residential Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Residential Manager will assist the Residential Manager in ensuring the program runs safely and effectively. This includes assisting individuals with daily tasks, such as getting ready for the day or going to bed, cooking, cleaning, medication assistance, and participating in social/recreational activities in the community.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support individuals in developing and maintaining daily routines and schedules.
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring.
  • Participate in social/recreational activities with individuals, such as outings, games, and arts and crafts.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Document and report incidents, accidents, and concerns.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in a Human Service-related field preferred.
  • 9 months of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
