Job Overview

The Treasury Analyst will manage the organization's treasury operations and controls. Key responsibilities of this position encompass the oversight of daily banking transactions and corporate disbursements, addressing banking requirements, preparing daily cash reports, forecasting cash needs, and executing various treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and prepare daily cash positions while managing corporate cash and banking operations (including balance reporting, electronic transactions, account maintenance, and other treasury services). Provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Consolidate and analyze monthly rolling cash flow forecasts, identifying discrepancies from previous reports. Advise on funding strategies, discuss regression analysis outcomes, and model potential scenarios based on inputs from Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
  • Act as a backup for the Group Treasurer, overseeing cash positioning, reconciliations, monitoring cash pool activities, and executing payments. Lead discussions on cash pooling adjustments and recommend strategies to mitigate foreign exchange exposure.
  • Assist with local and global Corporate Finance & Treasury initiatives, including system implementations and process enhancements. Lead the integration of new bank accounts and entities into the Global Cash Balance Reporting (Treasury Management System).
  • Contribute to the development of Treasury strategies and implementation plans to achieve organizational objectives. Conduct competitive analyses on key treasury initiatives and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and propose recommendations for potential solutions, such as leveraging new banking products, services, and technologies. Suggest cost-saving measures, including the elimination of unnecessary banking services.
  • Oversee vendor, consultant, and bank relationships during project implementations and the introduction of new capabilities.
  • Collaborate with various departments (Finance, Tax, Accounting, IT, Risk, Operations, Legal, etc.) to support projects and transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and organized documentation for all areas of responsibility.
  • Own process documentation, create treasury and cash management documentation, and ensure regular updates; establish appropriate controls.
  • Manage all aspects of bank account administration, including the opening, closing, maintenance, and recording of accounts.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information pertinent to treasury operations.
  • Assist in the creation, maintenance, and organization of Policies and Procedures and related documentation.
  • Administer bank account access globally, recommending improvements for audit compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) adherence.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Fintech.
  • Proficient in accounting principles, financial systems, and financial analysis.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is preferred.
Additional Skills:
  • Familiarity with cash management and bank account administration, along with knowledge of domestic and international banking products and services.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in treasury functions is preferred.
  • Experience in liquidity management, cash forecasting, foreign exchange derivatives, and intercompany loans.
  • Project Management experience, ideally within Corporate Treasury.
  • Experience with treasury management systems, banking portals, and related technologies.
