Job Overview

Position Summary: Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring all requirements are fulfilled during the arrival and departure of aircraft. A strong emphasis on customer satisfaction for both flight crews and passengers of private or business-owned aircraft is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

Daily Ramp Operations:

  • Welcome and assist passengers and flight crews upon arrival
  • Handle loading and unloading of customer luggage and baggage
  • Coordinate transportation arrangements for clients
  • Deliver refreshments, catering, and other necessities to aircraft
  • Advise on local accommodations, dining options, attractions, and events
  • Understand and communicate pricing for various services
  • Encourage fuel sales and service enhancements
  • Ensure flight crew check-in at the customer service desk and confirm all fees are settled before aircraft departure

Collaboration with Other Departments:

  • Support front desk staff as needed
  • Assist lobby concierge with guest inquiries

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform other tasks as directed by management or location-specific requirements.


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs from floor to waist level or higher consistently; able to perform repetitive motions including bending, standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and twisting for extended periods. Adequate vision and ability to safely execute essential job functions are required; must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, safety glasses, gloves, and high-visibility clothing when necessary. This role involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in an airport setting, requiring the ability to endure extreme weather conditions and temperature variations.


Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least 18 years old; possess a high school diploma or GED; hold a valid driver's license; successfully pass pre-employment and random drug screenings; and complete an extensive 10-year background check. Candidates should be people-oriented, highly motivated, and maintain a positive attitude; adherence to company policies and effective performance under time constraints are crucial. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking). Previous experience in Fixed Base Operations (FBO) is advantageous.
