Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at StandardAero. As an A&P Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of customer aircraft and ensuring that regulatory and company requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Aircraft Systems: Determine the serviceability of aircraft systems, parts, and components using precision measuring guides, gauges, instruments, measuring devices, magnification, and non-destructive testing (if appropriately certified).
  • Conduct Preliminary, Hidden Damage, In-Process, and Final Inspections: Accomplish preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all articles repaired, maintained, inspected, or altered by the facility.
  • Monitor Work in Progress: Ensure proper paperwork, procedures, techniques, and methods as prescribed by maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, approved engineering documents, and other FAA approved data are used.
  • Document Inspection Results: Document inspection results in inspection paperwork and log books. RTS any article that is maintained or altered by the facility, and if applicable, certify (in the appropriate records) that the article is airworthy with respect to the work performed.
  • Approve Aircraft for Return to Service: Approve aircraft for return to service upon completion of maintenance and/or alteration.
Requirements
  • NDT Certification/Knowledge: Must have NDT certification/knowledge.
  • Fluent/Bilingual in Spanish: Must be fluent/bilingual in Spanish.
  • Excellent Communication and Writing Skills: Must have excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Computer Skills: Must have good computer skills.
