Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Head of People to lead our People Operations and foster a high-performance culture. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will drive strategic HR initiatives that align with Pearl AI's business objectives, focusing on recruitment, employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Design and execute HR strategies that support Pearl AI's growth and maintain a thriving, engaged workforce.
- Represent HR to Senior Leadership: Participate in key business decisions that impact our people efforts and represent the HR organization to the senior leadership team.
- Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with senior leaders, including the head of engineering, sales, partnerships, marketing, and more, to drive business outcomes.
- Onboarding and Training: Design and oversee onboarding, training, and development programs that foster employee growth and establish managers' training.
- Employer Value Proposition: Establish an employer's value proposition, compensation philosophy, and maintain a strong company culture that promotes excellence, high performance, and employee well-being.
- Recruitment and Employee Relations: Lead recruitment efforts to expand our talent pool and attract top talent across all levels of the organization, while managing employee relations and ensuring HR practices are compliant with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Outsourced PeopleOps and Benefits: Manage outsourced PeopleOps and Benefits firms to ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and day-to-day human resources.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance management systems, compensation structures, and benefit programs.
- Organizational Changes: Partner with leadership to support organizational changes and ensure smooth scaling of operations.
- Employee Engagement: Develop employee engagement initiatives to boost morale, recognition, and retention.
- 10-15+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a fast-growing, start-up environment.
- Proven track record in recruitment, performance management, and organizational development.
- Expertise in labor law and HR best practices, with the ability to apply them in a dynamic work environment.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive, inclusive culture.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in managing change and organizational growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
