Position Overview:

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is a leading provider of environmental and dining services within the healthcare sector, catering to both long-term and acute care facilities across the nation. We are currently seeking PRN Registered Dietitians to join our dedicated team in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver registered dietitian services across multiple sites in compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Exercise administrative authority and accountability to fulfill assigned responsibilities effectively.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the nutritional care of residents, ensuring adherence to current federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to guarantee the provision of high-quality nutritional services daily, serving as a resource for the Dining Services Department Head.
  • Although not a supervisory role, provide training to staff on proper dietary techniques and practices.
  • Adapt to company needs by providing coverage across various facilities.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as per state requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively regarding residents' conditions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Dependable with experience in facilities that utilize large-scale food production methods.
  • Proficient in record-keeping and report completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive interaction with residents, clients, and colleagues.
  • Knowledgeable about dietary practices, laws, and regulations governing dietary functions in healthcare settings.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and a collaborative spirit with other staff members.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and interpret the Food Services Department's goals and policies.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of supplies and equipment, conducting regular inspections for sanitation and safety.
  • Willingness to explore and integrate new dietary methods and principles into existing practices.
  • Ability to analyze food service cost reports and financial data.
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with Motor Vehicle Check requirements.
  • Adhere to COVID-19 vaccination policies as mandated by applicable regulations.

Additional Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds, as well as standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in environments with food and cleaning products.
  • Residency within the service area is required; relocation costs are not covered.
