Position Overview


Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is a leading provider of environmental and dining services in the healthcare sector, supporting over 5,000 contracts across the nation.

We are currently seeking PRN Registered Dietitians to join our dedicated team in various locations.

Retention Bonus: $1500

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver registered dietitian services at multiple sites, adhering to established policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Exercise administrative authority and accountability to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the nutritional care of residents in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure the provision of high-quality nutritional services daily.
  • Serve as a resource for the Dining Services Department Head to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Train staff on proper dietary techniques as needed.
  • Provide coverage across various facilities based on organizational needs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as mandated by state regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively regarding residents' conditions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Dependable with experience in quantity food production.
  • Proficient in record-keeping and report completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive interaction with residents, clients, and staff.
  • Knowledgeable about dietary practices and relevant laws governing dietary functions in healthcare settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Capability to plan, implement, and interpret departmental programs and policies.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of supplies and cleanliness of food service areas.
  • Willingness to explore and integrate new dietary methods and principles.
  • Ability to analyze food service cost reports and financial data.
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with Motor Vehicle Check.
  • Adherence to COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.

Additional Requirements:


Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds, push or pull similar weights, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Must be comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
