Position Overview


Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is a prominent provider of environmental and dining services across the long-term care and acute care sectors, managing over 5,000 contracts nationwide.

As we continue to expand our market presence, HCSG is seeking PRN Registered Dietitians in your region.

Retention Bonus: $1500

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver registered dietitian services across multiple locations in accordance with established policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations.
  • Exercise administrative authority and accountability to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the nutritional care of residents, adhering to current standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure high-quality nutritional services are consistently provided.
  • Act as a resource for the Dining Services Department Head to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Provide training to staff on proper dietary techniques as needed.
  • Offer coverage across various facilities based on organizational needs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as per state requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively regarding residents' conditions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate dependability.
  • Experience in facilities utilizing large-scale food production methods.
  • Proficient in record-keeping and report completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive interaction with residents, clients, and staff.
  • Knowledgeable about dietary practices and regulations governing dietary functions in nursing facilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.
  • Ability to plan, develop, and implement food service programs and policies.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and safety in food service areas.
  • Willingness to explore and adopt new methods and principles in food service practices.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and food service cost reports.
  • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Check and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as mandated by relevant authorities.

Additional Requirements:


Ability to lift/carry up to 10 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Must be comfortable working around food and cleaning products.

Local residency is required; no relocation assistance is available.
