Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition and Dietetics
  • Successful completion of a dietetic internship
  • Certification as a Registered Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Experience with eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and body image work
  • Familiarity with military body composition requirements and culture

Duties:

  • Develop personalized care plans focused on achieving optimal body mass index

  • Promote healthy lifestyle choices resulting in a minimum annual 5% reduction in flagged Service Members
  • Support lifestyle changes through educational outreach at IDNG wellness events
  • Engage actively with local health and wellness groups, the Office of the State Surgeon, and other Guard entities
