Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Inquiry Curriculum Coordinator in the Assessment, Curriculum and Evaluations (ACE) Unit. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of the Inquiry element within the Bridges Curriculum, a significant component of the UCSF Medical School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Deep Explore component of the Inquiry curriculum, supporting 160 fourth-year medical students in designing and completing research projects during the Career Launch phase of the curriculum.
  • Communicate project requirements and tools to students, monitor their progress, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Oversee program operations, including teaching and learning activities, scheduling, database maintenance, and upholding program and policy standards for Medical Education.
  • Co-lead the organization and execution of student research events, providing a platform for students to share their projects with the broader UCSF Medical Education community.
  • Collaborate with vendors, manage budgets, and oversee event communications with all students and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Minimum 3+ years of directly relevant experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research, with the ability to develop and implement processes and systems.
  • Demonstrated experience and documented excellence in oral and written communications skills, including active listening and critical thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work productively with anyone regardless of background.
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail.
