Key Responsibilities:
As the Area Curriculum & Instruction Specialist, your primary focus will be to uphold the integrity of systems related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment, with the ultimate aim of facilitating successful educational outcomes for students across various campuses within your designated area.

1. **Compliance Assurance:**
Ensure all programs adhere to educational laws, regulations, and internal standards for educational services.

2. **Collaborative Leadership:**
Act as a constructive team member, fostering open communication among all locations and departments.

3. **Instructional Leadership:**
Guide the implementation of educational policies and standards aligned with state frameworks and educational laws.

4. **Teacher Support:**
Provide ongoing support, guidance, and supervision to educators in areas such as assessment, curriculum, and instructional strategies, ensuring the application of evidence-based teaching methods.

5. **Assessment Oversight:**
Monitor student progress through formal and informal academic assessments, ensuring high achievement rates.

6. **Data-Driven Decision Making:**
Train on-site education teams in utilizing student data for instructional planning and decision-making.

7. **Intervention Implementation:**
Oversee intervention instruction and curriculum, focusing on direct instruction in essential academic areas for students below grade level.

8. **Curriculum Recommendations:**
Research and recommend evidence-based curricula that meet educational standards.

9. **Quality Assurance:**
Conduct regular quality checks at various levels and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

10. **Staff Development:**
Assess training needs and design development plans for instructional staff, including training and follow-up support.

11. **IEP Process Support:**
Assist education coordinators and teachers in the IEP process, ensuring effective goal review and transition planning.

12. **Communication:**
Maintain effective communication with parents, caregivers, and district personnel, projecting a positive company image.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in special education or a related field.
- Valid special education preliminary credential or the ability to obtain one.
- Valid state driver's license for travel.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a special education setting.

- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
