Job Summary

Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team in Oklahoma City. As an Audiologist with our company, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality audiology services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and interpret various tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, including air and bone conduction, and speech reception and discrimination tests.
  • Evaluate test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical record reviews of past audiograms and documents to determine the likely cause of the hearing loss, and to state the prognosis and address the issues of hearing loss and tinnitus.
  • Operate computerized programs and utilize application software and databases to enter, modify, and access information into/from electronic medical records, and utilize report writing formats.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality with written and verbal information per HIPAA.
  • Conduct otoscopic examinations, cerumen management, and calibration checks of audiometric equipment.
  • Lead paraprofessional staff training for Audiology specific skills and certifications as required by all LOB.
  • Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs).
Requirements
  • A Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D) from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of clinic practice experience.
  • Professional experience directly related or desire to work with Compensation and Pension Examination, and experience with hearing conservation programs/and or noise conservation programs preferred but not required.
  • Currently licensed Audiologist in state employed and license shall be unrestricted.
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification prior to hire.
  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government Clearances (LARS/Public Trust Clearance, etc).
  • Receive a medical clearance that may consist of passing an N95 respirator fit test and properly wear organizational standard respiratory protective equipment as required.
  • Pass a Tuberculosis/TB test and receive a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or pass a Hepatitis A/B Titer test.
  • Ability to earn and maintain training/certifications as required to support current and future contracts.
