Job Title: Audiologist - Otolaryngology

At OU Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our Otolaryngology team. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in evaluating, treating, and counseling patients with hearing and balance disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive hearing and balance evaluations for patients of all ages, including neonates, pediatric patients, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' perceptual and communicative needs.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on hearing and balance disorders, as well as on the use of amplification and assistive listening devices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex hearing and balance needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in audiology and participate in ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in Audiology from an accredited college/university.
  • Active License from the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with pediatric and adult populations.
  • Knowledge of current amplification technologies and fitting practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
