Fleet Response Job Description

Fleet Response is a leading provider of innovative and effective services to corporations who self-insure physical damages to their fleets. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Claims Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The Senior Claims Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of client accident claims from assignment through completion. This includes managing 3rd party claims, including repair and rental management, claimant communication, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviews and sends loss notices to clients and carriers per client parameters.
  • Answers claim calls and questions from clients, leadership, and office staff.
  • Investigates liability for client accidents and makes appropriate decisions based on results of investigation, applicable laws, statutes, and jurisdictions.
  • Evaluates, negotiates, and settles liability bodily injury claims with claimants and/or attorneys.
  • Enters documentation, including claim notes, estimates, photos, and correspondence, into claims management system.
  • Manages rental reservation and rental process within specific claims in accordance with client parameters and customer needs.
  • Secures documentation on repairs, including reasons for delays, and actively manages the repair process for clients and customers.
  • Participates in Client Review Meetings as required.
  • Coordinates and balances workload within a defined sub-team.
  • Assists leadership in departmental and individual claims rep training.
  • Runs, interprets, and recommends action from available reporting.
  • Effectively communicates with clients, team, peers, and leadership through written, verbal, and in-person means.
Requirements
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior automotive, fleet management, claims management, and vehicle re-marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • 3rd Party claims management experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain insurance/adjuster licensing as required in all states.

Work Schedule

A variety of flexible work arrangement schedules are available, with the ability to work from home as part of your schedule, after completion of training.

This position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
