Position Title: Client Services Coordinator

Department: Community Health & Research Center

Job Status: Full-time

Overview: The Client Services Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that community members have access to essential services that enhance their quality of life. This position involves direct interaction with clients, addressing their inquiries, and resolving any issues they may encounter. The primary focus is to deliver exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks related to client intake and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients to the department and provide guidance on available services.
  • Respond to phone calls and inquiries regarding service offerings.
  • Educate clients about service benefits and available resources.
  • Facilitate warm transfers to ensure clients connect with appropriate service providers.
  • Assist in resolving complaints and navigating grievance processes.
  • Collect and analyze feedback on client experiences to improve service delivery.
  • Provide support in behavioral health, outreach, and training initiatives.
  • Maintain an updated directory of service providers and their specialties.
  • Document client interactions and follow up on service requests.
  • Communicate program requirements and any associated fees to clients.
  • Stay informed about community resources and ACCESS programs.
  • Track client referrals and document outcomes to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through various communication channels.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on service improvements.
  • Perform administrative tasks including scheduling and registration for new clients.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Experience in health administration, business administration, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in customer service or community support roles is beneficial.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in using office software and electronic medical records systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards.
