Under direct supervision, and adhering to required food safety practices, sanitation standards, and health regulations, the Dietary Assistant II is responsible for delivering appealing meals and associated food services to patients, staff, visitors, and cafeteria customers. The following key responsibilities are designed to highlight the primary functions of this role, with additional tasks assigned as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Sanitize and clean kitchen utensils and equipment. Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors. Organize and store food supplies. Ensure food service equipment is properly cleaned. Manage waste disposal effectively.

Required Qualifications

Mandatory

Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic; capable of understanding verbal instructions and communicating job-related issues.
