Position Overview: The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements operational protocols for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, material handling, and maintaining accurate inventory across multiple locations.
  • Conducts regular inspections of the warehouse, equipment, and vehicles to ensure optimal working conditions.
  • Prepares maintenance work orders and requisitions for equipment and vehicle replacements.
  • Maintains comprehensive reports on truck operations on a monthly basis.
  • Recruits and trains staff necessary for the effective operation of the facility, excluding sales personnel.
  • Collaborates with department leaders to synchronize warehouse operations with other business functions, including production, sales, and compliance.
  • Oversees the salvage process for damaged or surplus materials.
  • Participates in the planning of safety and security measures to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Handles customer interactions and liaises with supplier representatives.
  • Ensures compliance with D.O.T. regulations among all drivers.
  • Provides support to truck drivers and administrative staff as needed.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in warehouse operations is required.
  • Possession of a CDL Class A or B is preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in the agricultural sector is a plus.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
