As the Retail Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the daily retail functions of the GNC store in collaboration with the District Manager.

Your role is crucial in driving the store's financial performance, leading and developing team members, fostering a positive workplace culture, demonstrating loyalty to the GNC brand, delivering outstanding customer service, and enhancing sales.

The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and skills to promote GNC's wellness mission effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers to assist them in selecting the right products and provide recommendations based on your comprehensive product knowledge and understanding of their needs.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to GNC's Vision and Values.
  • Achieve and surpass personal sales and productivity targets while mentoring sales associates to reach their full potential.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team-building abilities, including providing ongoing feedback to associates regarding their performance, recruiting, hiring, and managing performance.
  • Stay informed about new product trends, features, advantages, and benefits, while also training associates on product knowledge.
  • Manage the opening, closing, and daily operations of the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory management, and deposits in accordance with GNC procedures.
  • Order merchandise and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels, adhering to GNC guidelines to maximize sales and maintain store aesthetics.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of omni-channel orders in compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all store communications, including product information, advertising, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Exhibit strong multitasking abilities, coordinate effectively, analyze situations, make informed decisions, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with Loss Prevention to ensure compliance with GNC's policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales and store management within a specialty retail environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Adhere to all store operations policies.
  • Manage work schedules within established budgets for optimal store coverage.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
