Objective:

Collaborate with designated clients to guarantee optimal product availability and placement at all times.

  • Procure merchandise that meets customer requirements while ensuring effective product displays.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
  • Arrive punctually at client locations for scheduled service.
  • Rotate inventory and remove expired items as necessary.
  • Handle product returns and issue credits in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure UNFI products are presented in a tidy and organized manner.
  • Communicate product and delivery updates to clients.
  • Assist in the installation of shelf tags and promotional materials.
  • Promote sales initiatives as directed.
  • Adhere to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards as applicable.
  • Follow up on client product inquiries.
  • Keep management updated on regional activities and any significant issues.
  • Participate in required meetings.
  • Provide support for other sales representatives when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Carry out other relevant job responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:

Education/Certifications:
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Auto insurance must meet company standards.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in customer service within a retail environment.
  • Experience with system implementation is preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent travel is necessary; access to a vehicle is required.
  • Ability to enter and exit a vehicle multiple times daily.
  • Drive safely in various conditions including urban, rural, and highway.
  • Capability to set up displays, fixtures, and products.
  • Able to withstand exposure to diverse store and warehouse environments, including temperature variations, dust, and dirt.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
