Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team at J & J Worldwide Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of proposals, from capture planning to final document submission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the proposal development process, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of proposals.
  • Develop and implement proposal strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage proposal budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop proposal content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Coordinate proposal reviews, ensuring timely feedback and revisions.
  • Manage proposal document control, ensuring version control and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain proposal templates, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to proposal team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve proposal processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in proposal development, preferably in a management role.
  • Excellent proposal management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in proposal development tools and software.
  • APMP certification and/or formal proposal management training is highly desirable.
