As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating a team of architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and owners through all stages of facility construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of assigned projects.
  • Provide project management oversight, coordinating with clients and project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and update schedules, budgets, and cost estimates, ensuring accurate financial management.
  • Develop and implement project-specific QA programs, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Manage sub-consultants and technical resources, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Coordinate and interface with clients and project teams, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Review bid packages and assist with procurement, ensuring best-value solutions.
  • Develop and coordinate project scopes, ensuring clear and concise project objectives.
  • Oversee and manage assigned staff, providing leadership and performance management.
  • Develop and prepare extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals, ensuring timely and accurate project execution.
  • Review all design and construction submittals, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Review and approve design team and contractor invoicing, ensuring accurate financial management.
  • Participate in client presentations, showcasing project successes and outcomes.
  • Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Leads, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals, ensuring effective business development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field from an accredited program.
  • 5 years' experience in a construction-related discipline, with a strong background in project management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and project teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong work ethic, with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer License.
  • CCM or PMP certificate.
  • LEED AP.
  • OSHA Certifications.
  • Experience working with city, county, state, or federal governmental agencies.
  • Project management and business development experience.
  • Experience with various project delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Construction Manager at Risk, and P3.
  • Experience managing multidiscipline project teams.
Working Conditions:

Work is performed in both an office and field environment, with approximately 25% to 75% of time spent in the field. Field work requires climbing, walking, and standing at construction sites, and may involve exposure to heat, cold, wet, humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 50 lbs) may be required.
