Job Title: Day Programs Manager

Job Summary:

The Day Programs Manager is responsible for coordinating day programs and services for individuals residing at the State Supported Living Center (SSLC). This role involves developing guidelines, procedures, and program goals, ensuring compliance with Department of Labor standards, and supervising staff to ensure proper daily coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement day programs and services in collaboration with the supervisor.
  • Write procedures and manuals to enhance program implementation and effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing the budget and ensuring compliance with Department of Labor standards.
  • Supervise staff to ensure proper daily coverage and provide training and coaching as needed.
  • Participate in the interdisciplinary team process and attend annual ISP meetings.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Texas Administrative Code, HHSC policies, and Department of Labor standards.
  • Ability to develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to supervise large staffing groups and build leadership skills in others.
