As a Program Supervisor IV with the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Texas Health Steps Program. This position requires a strong understanding of Medicaid services and eligibility, as well as knowledge of social service programs and health care delivery systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the activities of regional program staff, providing technical guidance and oversight of program operations.
- Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure effective program delivery.
- Coordinate program activities with internal and external stakeholders, including county medical societies, county dental societies, and other relevant agencies.
- Attend public hearings, Medicaid Managed Care Organization meetings, and other relevant events to stay informed and represent the program.
- Oversee the development and implementation of program initiatives, including provider recruitment and retention strategies.
- Knowledge of Medicaid services and eligibility.
- Knowledge of social service programs and health care delivery systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including staff, providers, and community members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and resolve operational problems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
