Key Responsibilities:

  • Support cost accounting operations, encompassing inventory assessments, month-end processes related to revenue and COGS, global cycle counts, overhead, and E&O evaluations.
  • Assist with regular accounts receivable and payable functions.
  • Oversee balance sheet general ledgers to ensure monthly reconciliation of all accounts.
  • Manage cash applications and reconcile bank statements effectively.
  • Prepare precise and timely journal entries and financial statements according to the established month-end and year-end timelines.
  • Facilitate financial consolidation processes involving the US, China, HK, and Taiwan.
  • Generate monthly financial reports and schedules for submission to the parent company.
  • Maintain records of the company's fixed and tangible assets, establishing depreciation and amortization schedules.
  • Investigate and resolve RMA and stock rotation issues with suppliers and customers.
  • Support the interim and year-end global financial audit processes.
  • Assist with state and property tax filings, 1099 submissions, and other compliance obligations as necessary.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications for the Position:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Cost and General Ledger accounting.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Capability to analyze and validate the cost of goods sold during the month-end close process.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and willing to undertake special projects as needed.
  • Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
  • Customer-focused mindset, exhibiting a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Compensation Range: $75,000 - $100,000 / year
