About the Role:
The Patient Estimate Department at TEKsystems is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls from patients and assisting them in creating an estimate for their medical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Document patient information into Microsoft Excel for Sr Associates to follow up on and deliver accurate estimates
- Pass patient information along to Sr Associates to create estimates
- Work closely with Sr Associates to ensure accurate and timely estimates
Requirements:
- 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably in insurance or hospital/dr. office settings
- Inbound call experience and basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
