Key Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a Senior Contracts Administrator to enhance our organization. The selected candidate will be tasked with:
  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of contracts encompassing various types, complexities, and scales while monitoring invoices and budgets to prevent cost overruns.
  • Ensuring adherence to government contracting standards across all projects.
  • Providing essential support to Project Managers by offering expert guidance on contractual obligations.
  • Managing the initiation and conclusion processes for all designated projects.
  • Assisting in the preparation of cost proposals and project narratives.
  • Building and nurturing strong client relationships through frequent interactions and leading teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
  • Analyzing, drafting, and negotiating contractual agreements including Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other binding contracts as opportunities arise.
  • Offering support to internal program teams, engaging in complex problem-solving, and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Achieving departmental and divisional goals by advocating for sound business practices.
  • Exhibiting strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills essential for collaborative work environments. Familiarity with U.S. government Intelligence Community agencies is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proven experience in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), participating in RFP review sessions, conducting contract pre-award meetings, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts.
  • Expertise in managing Government contracts and Subcontracts with other Government Contractors in accordance with FAR, DFAR, and other agency regulations.
  • Experience in preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating necessary records, reports, or documents to meet corporate and Contract Management standards.
  • Proficiency in executing contract closeouts, resolving outstanding issues, issuing final modifications and invoices, and coordinating contractor performance evaluations.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the project team, including representing and engaging with internal and external management.
  • Current Secret clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in creating and managing Excel spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management tools such as GovWin or UNISOM.
  • Self-motivated and independent with strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Experience with Deltek is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of various contract types and terms.
  • Ability to understand and implement policies and procedures effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This range reflects the typical salary for this position based on experience and other relevant factors.
