Position Overview

Peraton is in search of a Senior Contracts Administrator to enhance our operations. The individual in this role will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of contracts encompassing various types, complexities, and sizes, while monitoring invoices and budgets to prevent cost overruns.
  • Ensure adherence to government contracting standards and regulations.
  • Provide support to Project Managers by offering insights on contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate the initiation and conclusion processes for all assigned projects.
  • Assist in the development of cost proposals and narratives for projects.
  • Foster robust customer relationships through frequent interactions and act as a team leader to address issues and optimize processes.
  • Evaluate, prepare, and negotiate contractual agreements, including Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other binding contracts as opportunities arise.
  • Deliver support to internal program teams, engaging in complex problem-solving and providing innovative solutions.
  • Achieve departmental and divisional goals by promoting sound business practices.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills essential for effective teamwork. Familiarity with U.S. government Intelligence Community agencies is required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proven experience in preparing responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), participating in RFP and proposal review sessions, conducting contract pre-award meetings, and managing negotiations and contract finalization.
  • Experience in managing Government contracts and Subcontracts with other Government Contractors under FAR, DFAR, and other agency regulations.
  • Skilled in preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating necessary records, reports, or documents to fulfill corporate and Contract Management requirements.
  • Experience in contract closeout processes, resolving outstanding contract issues, issuing final modifications and invoices, and coordinating contractor performance evaluations.
  • Adept at interfacing with all levels of the project team, including representing and engaging with various levels of internal and external management.
  • Current Secret clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in creating and managing Excel spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in using Contract Lifecycle Management tools such as GovWin or UNISOM.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with Deltek is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of various contract types and terms.
  • Ability to understand and implement policies and procedures effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Compensation Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This range reflects the typical salary for this position based on experience and other relevant factors.
