Key Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a Senior Contracts Administrator to enhance our organization. The selected candidate will be tasked with:
  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of contracts encompassing various types, complexities, and scales while monitoring invoices and budgets to prevent cost overruns.
  • Ensuring adherence to government contracting standards throughout project execution.
  • Providing Project Managers with essential guidance on contractual obligations.
  • Managing the initiation and conclusion phases for all assigned projects.
  • Assisting in the development of cost proposals and narratives for projects.
  • Building robust customer relationships through frequent interactions and leading teams to resolve issues and optimize processes.
  • Analyzing, preparing, and negotiating contractual agreements, including Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other binding contracts as opportunities arise.
  • Offering support to internal program teams, including addressing complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Achieving departmental and divisional goals by advocating sound business practices.
  • Exhibiting strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills essential for collaboration in a team setting. Familiarity with U.S. government Intelligence Community agencies is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline, complemented by a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proven experience in responding to Requests for Proposal (RFP), participating in RFP and proposal review sessions, conducting contract pre-award meetings, and negotiating and finalizing contracts.
  • Experience managing government contracts and subcontracts with other government contractors under FAR, DFAR, and related agency regulations.
  • Proficiency in preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating necessary records, reports, or documents to fulfill corporate and contract management obligations.
  • Experience in contract closeout processes, resolving outstanding contract issues, issuing final modifications and invoices, and coordinating contractor performance evaluations.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the project team, including representing and engaging with various levels of internal and external management.
  • Current Secret clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in creating and managing Excel spreadsheets.
  • Proficient in using Contract Lifecycle Management tools such as GovWin or UNISOM.
  • Self-motivated and independent worker with strong organizational and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with Deltek is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of various contract types and terms.
  • Ability to understand and implement policies and procedures effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
