Supervisor, Clinical Lab-Extraction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Natera. As a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily supervision of lab staff, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our laboratory. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of laboratory procedures and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to ensure that laboratory staff are up-to-date with the latest techniques and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze laboratory data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that laboratory resources are allocated effectively.
- Ensure that all laboratory staff are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire laboratory staff.
- Deep understanding of laboratory procedures and regulations, including CLIA and HIPAA.
- Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
