Senior Clinical Laboratory Supervisor

Natera is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our laboratory staff, ensuring the highest quality of patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of laboratory staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of laboratory tests and procedures.
- Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of laboratory services.
- Monitor and analyze laboratory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and technologies.
- Provide training and education to laboratory staff on new procedures and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CLIA, CAP, and OSHA.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from a recognized accrediting agency.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with laboratory staff, management, and other departments.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures.
