Salary Range:

$90,000 - $120,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.

This role encompasses, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily technical design tasks associated with projects.
  • Participate in routine project design meetings, document minutes, and maintain organized project files.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Understand all aspects of preparing bridge design plans and construction bid packages.
  • Conduct field inspections and generate reports for bridge and culvert assessments.
  • Complete assignments related to bridge inspection, load rating, and design.
  • Develop detailed design plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Provide technical support during construction phases, addressing contractor inquiries and reviewing progress.

Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (MS preferred).
  • Minimum years of experience in transportation and structures/bridge design.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation, STAAD, and Bridge Design Software is preferred.
