Position Overview

As a key member of the team, the Audio Visual Operations Technician will support the audiovisual functions within the department. This role involves the management and operation of AV equipment to ensure seamless presentations and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the AV Manager in overseeing the audiovisual operations for various departmental events.
  • Operate and maintain a range of audiovisual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, lighting, and microphones.
  • Conduct regular tests and preventive maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Participate in the installation and setup of AV systems for meetings and events.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service reports.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff and external clients during events.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing audiovisual projects or hold relevant certifications in AV technology. Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Work Environment

This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including the possibility of weekend work. Physical demands may include lifting and maneuvering AV equipment.
