The Technical Support and Systems Coordinator will collaborate with our events and operations team, engaging with various facets of member programming, events, and initiatives. This role will require proficiency in multiple systems throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a keen aptitude for data management, exceptional attention to detail, and outstanding customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Membership Assistance: Achieve proficiency in all components of the association management database (YourMembership) to maintain data integrity and facilitate efficient membership renewals.
- Foundation Management: Oversee the newly established Microsoft Access donor database, generating donor acknowledgments, thank-you letters, and other communications/mailings for donors.
- Educational Support: Gain expertise in the Learning Management System (CrowdWisdom) to assist with member webinars and educational offerings; develop a database of speakers.
- Financial Oversight: Learn and manage accounts receivable/payable processes for the association, including expense reporting and tracking.
- Marketing Assistance: Familiarize yourself with email marketing, digital marketing, and automation tools.
- Event Coordination: Aid in the planning and execution of key events, including Cultivate and other meetings.
- Customer Support: Address member inquiries and provide assistance for member programming.
- General Office Duties: Perform various office tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficient in general computer skills and Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of database structure and management.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support all staff and members.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with association management software is a plus.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time role reporting to the VP of Operations & Finance. AmericanHort offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits, including paid vacation and sick leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, HSA and FSA options, and a 401K plan. Some travel may be required.
