Key Responsibilities

Equipment Management

• Guarantee a seamless event by accurately and promptly setting up, operating, and dismantling essential audiovisual equipment as specified in the technical requirements.

Client Engagement

• Aim to surpass the expectations of both internal and external clients.

• Cultivate positive relationships with all clients through effective communication.

• Meet with clients on-site to ensure their requirements are fulfilled and that the equipment is functioning correctly.

• Monitor events and check in with clients throughout the duration of the event.

• Understand and nurture the relationship between the hotel and the client.

Technical Proficiency

• Comprehend the technical elements of the role and demonstrate basic operational skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues.

• Address equipment challenges and modifications promptly and professionally.

Systems Understanding

• Familiarize yourself with company processes, adhere to procedures, and accurately complete system entries and documentation.

• Utilize equipment sheets to identify the gear scheduled for setup and takedown.

• Collaborate with other staff and external vendors regarding equipment needs.

• Enhance revenue through effective upselling techniques.

• Work with clients to finalize billing.

• Complete order entries in the designated system as required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BA/BS Degree, preferably in Hospitality, Business, Media Production, Radio/TV/Film, or a related field.

• 0-6 months of experience in audiovisual support or customer service.

• Demonstrated technical aptitude through interest and exposure to emerging technologies.

• Ability to work at various hotel locations within the metropolitan area.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The role is performed in a hotel or convention center setting, with moderate exposure to outdoor conditions and dust. Working conditions may vary from moderately quiet to noisy environments. Team members will utilize high-end audiovisual equipment and electrical components, and may work at heights using lifts and ladders. Flexibility in working hours is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, while adhering to appearance standards as defined by the company.
